Chinese New Year 2009 falls on the 26th January 2009 and it is celebrated for 15 days by the Chinese throughout the whole world.Chinese New Year, the Lunar New Year or Spring Festival is the most important amongst the traditional Chinese holidays and this year is the year of Ox according to the Chinese calendar. As a Malaysian Chinese we too have a grand celebration here. As you can see this video is taken right in front of my house. There are firecrackers blasting non-stop around my neighbourhood. I leave that to my brother as I do not want to get my hand burnt. The most important for me is the Hong Bao( Red Packet with money in it) LOL.
A Happy New Year!

This looks so fascinating and what a cute little girl you are! My 6 year old daughter, Ava, wants to do a blog just like you!
ReplyDeleteHi, Wendy! You're the youngest blogger so far that I have come across with. I think your site is cool.
